First Two Economic Articles TA'ed

In California, the first economic articles were agreed to at a negotiating session held on June 20. 

UE Presents Economic Proposals to Northrop in California

On June 19, the UE Negotiating Committee presented its economic proposals to Northrop Grumman in California. The committee was joined by a number of workers who attended the session to send the message that decent wage increases and better benefits are critical to the employees at the service center.

Negotiations with Northrop Grumman Continue this week

Negotiations continue this week with Northrop Grumman on June 18th, 19th and 20th in California. Susan Hunter from the Vermont negotiating committee will travel to California to participate. As the negotiating committees get ready to bargain for more TA’s, UE members at the service centers will be demanding that Northrop Grumman “Make us a priority.” Listen for bargaining updates from your CSC person later this week.

Workers to Vote This Week on Pact to Provide Worker Protections During Stanley Reorganization

UE Local 1008 leaders today reached a tentatiave agreement with Stanley on a special agreement to protect workers during the current workplace reorganization.  Union and company negotiators also agreed on contract language covering health and safety and the probation period for new hires.
